After graduating interior design, Ferdinand Hartz attended the University of Design in Saarbrücken. At the side of professors Oskar Holweck and Siegbert Gölzer, he completed the interior design studies. For over 30 years, together with his business partner, he has been running a studio of furniture design and interior design. For a large ceramic producer, he designs shop furniture for the tableware segment. Through this activity he has found his passion for furniture design and works as an independent furniture and graphic designer in Saarbrücken.
